About Us

Freedom Elementary PTA is a relatively new organization serving the parents, teachers, and students of Freedom Elementary School in the Colorado Springs School District 11. 

We have a newly appointed Executive Board for the 2009-10 school year who is energetic and committed to helping our students, parents, and teacher have a fantastic year.

Our primary goal this year is to increase the quality and number of the before and after school enrichment programs for our students.

Our Mission:  To support, improve, and enrich the educational, social, and individual experiences of our children, parents, teachers, and staff.

Our Goals for 2009: 

· Increase the quality and number of the before and after school enrichment programs.

· Increase PTA membership to 200 members.

· Increase PTA member support and visibility at PTA sponsored events.

· Increase volunteer participation.

· Increase membership and participation by fathers and father-figures.

· Improve communication with parents, teachers and staff.

· Increase parental and teacher participation and attendance at the   monthly General Membership Meetings.

Our Core Values:
